Mission Statement
National Policy Research Center
National Policy Research Center was established targets to the southern region and overall national development in Taiwan. The core studies in the center are: urban development, public transport, social welfare, education issues, financial issues, information technology, industrial policy, environmental issues, national defense issues, and energy issues. 
Other than the policy issues research, the center regularly organize seminars and various forums to establish industry-university communication platform between government and academia to get all concerned about the issues in the existing policies or proposals, and to supplemented by the views of academic research and public discussion of integration. This can contribute valuable knowledge of and recommendations to the government for future policy references, and to present National Sun Yat-sen University as the first university in southern Taiwan as "South think tank" for local concern.
